Pricing for stylish, distinctive and engaging portrait photography
Commercial & corporate portrait photographer in London
Fees are important - to you and to me. My method of charging is transparent, realistic and is designed to work for both parties. You can’t say fairer than that.
As commissions vary enormously, there is no 'one size fits all' solution and I will prepare an accurate quotation based on the specifics of the project. This is usually based on a charge for the time involved and your intended usage requirements. It will usually be all-inclusive (which means you get a high standard of post-production included in the fee you are quoted).
‘Day rates’ are often quoted by photographers; however, I believe that for you, the client, this method of charging can be misleading and is inherently unfair. Who knows how long a particular assignment will take? What happens if the job takes less or more time? What constitutes a ‘day’? There are too many unknown variables in this model and the client often ends up paying more than they expected. I’m not the cheapest in town and I’m far from being the most expensive; what I do guarantee, however, is great value.
When I quote for an assignment, the specific details of that particular job will be considered and presented to you as one final figure. Included in your quotation will be:
Creative consultation prior to the assignment
Time spent traveling to / from location
Setting up / down time
Shooting time
Editing and file preparation
High standard of post-production
Secure and private online gallery for proofing and downloading your images
A wide usage licence to cover all your needs
You can’t say fairer than that.
